Noz Talukdar, Managing Director, commented, We are delighted to be named in this report for the second year running. To have performed so well in such a highly competitive global marketplace during the uncertain manufacturing environment we have been experiencing over the last few years is down to the skill, determination and dedication of all our staff and I am very proud of them.
Over 50 Years of History Guttridge, with a history of supplying efficient and reliable solutions that extends over five decades, offer high quality bulk material handling solutions worldwide. Our design engineers are able to utilise their expertise and experience to continually anticipate dramatically changing industrial needs in a wide range of different market sectors from agriculture, animal feed, biomass and waste to food, chemicals and pharmaceuticals.
Bespoke Conveying Equipment As well as supplying standard conveying machinery, Guttridge specialises in the design and manufacture of bespoke equipment to suit customers۪ specific individual circumstances and requirements. The starting point for the design of any bespoke conveying machinery is a full understanding of the material۪s flow properties. This is where the Guttridge wealth of experience and knowledge of handling an extensive range of materials over the last 50 years comes in. It means that we are able to predict material behaviour and use the flow properties to ensure that we provide right first time equipment specification.
Over recent years Guttridge has seen an increasing demand from overseas markets, particularly in the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region, where we have set up an office offering a network of local support for customers in the area. In addition, our new UK & Ireland Commercial Manager, Doug Anderson, is concentrating on ensuring that our customers closer to home are well supported by our team of regional sales managers. These changes have all contributed to our steady growth over the past few years.
We believe that our focus on improving delivery performance still further and a reinvigorated approach to planned continuous improvement will continue to enhance our employees۪ performance and job satisfaction. It will also serve to strengthen our customer care so that we can offer our customers unrivalled service and support for many more years to come.
