Guttridge named runner-up for prestigious regional business award
Friday 11 December, 2015
We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded Midlands Regional Runner-Up for the Health and Safety Award in the recent Future Manufacturing Awards 2015 run by the EEF. The awards are the most established and respected regional and national recognition of manufacturing success so this is a fantastic way of celebrating the success that Guttridge has achieved with health and safety improvements over the last five years. The award goes to the manufacturer that has achieved the most impressive or innovative improvements in the health and safety culture of their workplace and we were up against stiff competition from a range of impressive businesses, small and large, from across the region.
Noz Talukdar, Managing Director of Guttridge, stated: This achievement is down to our team۪s hard work and dedication, and we are delighted to have been recognised in this way. Not only does it demonstrate the valuable contribution made by local manufacturers like ourselves, but it also puts us on the map as a modern and innovative company. This is great news for us to share with all our staff, customers and suppliers.
Richard Storey, Executive Director of Howden, the winner of the Health and Safety Award, stated: Companies that take steps to boost health and safety in the workplace see significant improvements in employee wellbeing and operational efficiency - and manufacturers are leading the way in this. This award is justly deserved and Guttridge should be applauded for their efforts.
