Recently added to the extensive Guttridge machine portfolio, a range of Metering Screw Feeders is now available for the accurate dosing of bulk solids with capacities from 0.1 to 15,000 litres per hour.
Offering a true modular compact design coupled with robust construction this range of screw feeders deliver superior performance at a truly competitive price. Accurate to a typical +/- 0.5% the range of standard machines can be quickly and easily customised to the customer’s specific requirements saving both time and money. Multiple feeders can be integrated to form complete recipe preparation systems.
Available in stainless steel construction (with 3 alternative finishes), polished to customer requirements the range of feeders offer easy clean and pharmaceutical options. Fully sealed for dust free operation the design incorporates two motors offering independent control of the ribbon flight agitator which sweeps the internal surfaces eliminating product bridging.
Rapid clean down is facilitated by quick release systems allowing the machine to be stripped down offering non problematic cleaning. Interlock switches utilised on the quick release system for added safety are included as standard.
Ideally suited to handling powders, flakes and granules for batch preparation, recipe formulation, continuous dosing, multiple feeder combinations and product conditioning the range is available in three configurations: Volumetric – for continuous flow measured by volume; Gravimetric (PID) – for continuous flow measured by weight and Loss in weight – for use with batching systems.
The range can also be supplied as ATEX certified machinery for applications which handle potentially explosive products; fully certified for ATEX Zones 20 internally and zones 21 and 22 both external and internal.
