The busy agricultural show season is upon us and our equipment and sales managers have been out and about at various shows across the UK and Ireland supporting our customers and offering grain handling advice and expertise to show visitors.

Balmoral Show

The Balmoral Show in Lisburn, County Antrim, Ireland, is one of Ireland۪s largest agricultural shows and we were delighted to be invited to display our Carier grain handling equipment on the Gardiner Farm Equipment stand.  Guttridge representative Alex Adair joined Humphrey Gardiner on the stand during the 3 day show run by the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society.  The show attracts a range of visitors from across the UK and Ireland as well as overseas and interest in our Carier range of machinery was as strong as ever.  The image below shows Humphrey Gardiner and a customer with the Carier equipment on the stand in the distinctly un-summery weather!

Suffolk Show

Guttridge Sales Manager Grant Corbett joined both All-Farm Installations and Marrison Agriculture on their stands at the Suffolk Show along with our Guttridge and Carier exhibition equipment.  The Suffolk Show, held at the end of May, is primarily a family show but also attracts many agricultural visitors from the East Anglia Region.  The weather here was better and the stands were busy both days.

Victam and Cereals

 We are also facing a very busy couple of weeks.  We are exhibiting at both Victam in Cologne, Germany and Cereals at Lincoln in the UK, both in week commencing 8^th June.  The Victam show will focus primarily on the Guttridge range of equipment designed and built for the animal feed and milling industries, displaying the following machines:

  bucket elevator

  shrouded chain conveyor

  troughed roller belt conveyor

  standard chain conveyor

  screw conveyor

  soft flight chain conveyor

At Cereals the Guttridge team will be exhibiting a wide range of Carier and Guttridge machines, with 13 machines available to view on the stand.  The Guttridge Silo Sweep Auger, a new product launched in 2014, can be used in conjunction with the Guttridge Silo Discharge Auger to offer a complete silo discharge system.  This completes the grain handling range and we are now able to provide specialist equipment for every aspect of grain handling.
