Guttridge has a good reputation and offers excellent service.  It is a solid, established company, an important factor in the current economic climate, and easy to deal with. It's great to be able to offer a fully UK engineered project that showcases what we, as a country, are capable of.

The engineers at Guttridge were very helpful. We were very pleased with the installation and have had faultless operation from the screw feeder.

We have worked with Guttridge on previous projects over the years and must say they are a very helpful and professional company, when it comes to customer services and providing a vast range of solid and reliable products. Getting the correct setup for a customer is very important and Guttridge have provided us with many products that have been able to outclass and outlast any of its competitors by a long shot. I hope that our good working relationship with this company will last for many years to come.

It was good to have all the various equipment delivered according to my fluctuating relocation plans. The Bulk Bag Discharger was simple to install and the ease of mounting the hoppers and augers was a great benefit. This installation has successfully satisfied a growing demand and our need to be more flexible. I will now have no hesitation in asking Guttridge to look at any future new requirements.

This installation was particularly environmentally sensitive and we had to fulfil certain criteria with regard to noise emissions. As well as supplying our own equipment to within given limits we were confident that the CARIER range of equipment would fulfil our requirements and compliment our own high standards.

CARIER range

For many years GAME Engineering Ltd has sourced a large quantity of their materials handling equipment from Guttridge, for use in projects in not only the grain handling sector but animal feed, pet food production plants and the waste recycling industry. When we were approached by the principle contractor in charge of this major expansion for Woldgrain Storage, it only seemed natural to use Guttridge equipment. Not only because they are a local company but also because of their commitment to delivering quality machines on time and on budget. Both of which they achieved.

We first specified Guttridge conveyors and elevators for our new petfood plant in 2002, since then they've kept pace with increasing production demands, performing reliably day and night. When we recently decided to extend the plant again, I was pleased to specify Guttridge once again, signing off the order for a further ?300,000 worth of conveyors and elevators. We see Guttridge as a key supplier and very much value the helpful and friendly service and advice they give us.

conveyors and elevators

We already had Guttridge machines working reliably on site so we were well aware that the company could provide us with quality systems at an acceptable price. Beyond that, though, we were impressed with the company's willingness to innovate new solutions that would help us to achieve the very highest levels of reliability - a major goal for our site. The Guttridge engineers are both responsive and knowledgeable and this was an important factor in ensuring the success of the project.

All the systems came on stream quickly and easily and are working well, but we're especially impressed with the Kleenbelt. It's a really robust design with an excellent sealing system. All of the incoming material is fed cleanly onto the belt without spillage and we have complete product containment even though the stream is very dusty. This is a major improvement compared with our previous experience of a conventional belt conveyor.
