We are looking for a Stores person to join our experienced team at Guttridge LTD, to help ensure the Stores department runs efficiently as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately book in purchased and manufactured parts, inspecting for quality, quantity, and damage.
• Maintain accurate stock levels through stocktakes, including steel and section.
• Ensure all items are correctly labelled, located, and stored to prevent damage or loss.
• Issue steel and other materials to relevant departments and jobs as required.
• Kit parts accurately for fabrication, fitting shop, and stainless area in line with schedules.
• Pick, pack, and despatch spare parts, ensuring on-time-delivery.
• Check all parts for quality and conformance before booking in or issuing.
• Use inventory systems to update stock movements and maintain documentation for goods received, issued, and returned.
• Ensure adherence to company procedures, including traceability and documentation standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and consistently wearing the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Liaise with purchasing, production, and engineering teams to ensure smooth material flow.
• Participate in team meetings and work closely with team members.
• Manage consumables to ensure components / items are available when required.
• Contribute to sustainability efforts, identifying opportunities for improvement.
