Originally designed to handle the vertical conveying of grain and similar materials, the Carier Bucket Elevator or Grain Elevator was a common sight on farms and grain stores across the UK. Manufactured to last these machines were valued for their reliability and simplicity with many still in operation today.

Carier began manufacturing bulk handling equipment back in 194, building a strong brand known for agricultural and light industrial converying. In 2004 Guttridge aquired the Carier brand and brought its expertise and heritage under the Guttridge name
While Carier conveyors are no longer manufacturer Guttridge has a full database of Carier machine drawings, allowing us to supply genuine, to-spec replacement parts for all Carier conveyors still in use. If a machine has reached the end of its life, we can provide replacement conveyors designed using advanced 3D modelling software to bring existing designs up to modern standards with the latest technology.

…is all we need. Our comprehensive Guttridge and Carier databases enable us to identify full details of machinery as supplied, from the unique machine number.
