Access Platform and Ladder*

Features:  

  • A robust design constructed from pre-galvanised steel  
  • Clamp fixings for easy on-site fitting
  • Galvanised flow forge flooring
  • Flat packed for assembly on site

Options:  

  • Vertical access ladders with safety hoops  
  • Intermediate rest platforms  
  • Four alternative ladder positions

ATEX*

Features:  

  • ATEX Certified machinery is available for applications which handle potentially explosive products  
  • Fully certified ATEX Zones 20 internally, and Zones 21 and 22 both external and internal

Belting Choices

Features:  

  • SBR 500/3 ply general purpose belt pre-punched for bucket fitting on site  

Options:  

  • Oil and fat resistant belts   
  • Belts suitable for food and drink industries

Boot Section

Features:

  • Boot pulley secured to shaft with taper-lock fitting, prevents sideways movement
  • Generous cleaning access doors on side of boot
  • Shaped, close tolerance boot radius plate
  • Bottom shaft adjusters for belt alignment adjustment

Buckets

Features:  

  • Standard high efficiency mild steel pressed

Options:  

  • Stainless steel pressed  
  • Plastic

Construction and Finish

Aimed primarily at the commercial grain store and large farm markets where the requirement is for intensive use during the harvest period and light use throughout the remainder of the year.

Double Leg Elevator*

A double leg elevator allows two separate product streams to be elevated simultaneously within one machine. 

Features:

  • A versatile option, ideal where space is restricted.
  • Suitable for two streams of a similar product
  • Ideal for handling cereals pre- and post-drier, with double capacity for outloading.

Drive Unit

Features:  

  • Shaft mounted right angled gearmotor with integral backstop
  • Larger drives over 11kw are usually specified with a shaft-mounted torque arm gearbox and Vee belt drive.

Explosion Relief Panels*

Options:  

  • ATEX certified explosion relief panel (pictured top)
  • non-ATEX standard rupture membrane (pictured centre)  
  • non-ATEX hinged flap explosion relief with microswitch (pictured bottom)

Head and Boot Pulleys

Features:

  • Head shaft, bearings and pulley removable in one piece
  • Standard mild steel fabricated with crowned face

   

Options:

  • Rubber lagged head pulley for improved belt grip  
  • Spiral cage bottom pulley to reduce buildup on sticky products

Head Section

Features:  

  • Head pulley secured to shaft with taper-lock fitting, prevents sideways movement  
  • Head bearings adjustable for easy belt alignment  
  • Large access panel on both sides of outlet  
  • Heavy duty shaped radius plate for high efficiency & durability  
  • Full sized, high efficiency outlet  
  • Adjustable flexible outlet throat plate  
  • Split top hood for easy access to head pulley, useful where headroom is limited

Optional Sensors*

Options:  

  • Rotation under speed sensor (pictured) – monitors belt slippage  
  • Belt alignment sensor – monitors belt tracking  
  • Bearing temperature sensors – provide early warning of bearing failure  
  • Electronic controller to monitor sensor signals

We hold full historical records, including drawings, of Carier machines supplied over the last 30 years or so. We can also advise and quote for replacements and extensions to existing machines.
