Guttridge GTX U-Trough Screw Conveyor Range

Simple and robust in design, with easy access for routine maintenance, U-trough screw conveyors provide cost-effective, versatile conveying capability for the widest range of bulk solids handling applications. Guttridge U-trough screw conveyors have been improved continuously over many years and are available across the nominal size range 150 to 600mm handling up to 500cu.m/hour. A heavy duty construction is available for particularly arduous applications. The well proven, modular design ensures easy assembly, installation and maintenance with any configuration available in both mild steel (painted or galvanised) and stainless steel to suit customer requirements and the site environment.

Versatile Material Handling

Screw conveyors are extremely reliable and versatile, making them ideal for applications that handle challenging materials. This durable design allows these types of conveyors to have a long service life. A range of flight configurations is available, tailored for mixing, aerating, or handling materials with sticky and poor flow characteristics.

Safety Monitoring

Safety is a critical aspect of all Guttridge designs. The range of sensors are designed to monitor the machine’s operation and can be wired into standardised control systems. For applications involving hazardous materials, extra safety features like dust control or sealed enclosures can provide an extra layer of protection.

Tubular & U-Trough Screw Conveyors

Guttridge offers two styles of screw conveyor: Tubular screws and U-trough screws. A review of your requirements will inform the most suitable choice for the application. Guttridge has experience with many different applications including product characteristics which need special configurations of flighting and trough style to achieve requirements from the conveyor.

Inlets & Outlets

Guttridge screw conveyors can be configured with multiple inlets and outlets, offered in many standard flange configurations, with bespoke options available.

Each outlet can be fitted with a slide valve to control the product flow path, which can be manually operated or connected to standardised control systems to automatically release product at multiple points along the machine’s length. Guttridge slide valves can be electronically, pneumatically, or hand-operated and are manufactured to suit a wide range of required throughputs.
