Guttridge Welcomes Brian McCawley and Nigel Godde on Visit
Week-long immersion in Guttridge’s manufacturing and sales operations aims to optimise group-wide collaboration.
Guttridge recently had the pleasure of hosting Brian McCawley, Vice President of North America Operations, and Nigel Godde, the newly appointed Group Chief Operating Officer. This visit provided them with an opportunity to gain firsthand experience with Guttridge and engage directly with the team. They met with Group CEO Mic Mittash and key Guttridge personnel to understand both the Guttridge business and the broader MHA Group. Their visit included a complete factory tour, observing the entire manufacturing process from goods-in and laser cutting through pressing, welding bays, paint, and final assembly.
MHA Executives Tour Guttridge UK, Focus on Operations
While not their first interaction with the company, this visit marked Brian and Nigel’s first visit to Guttridge’s UK operations. This week long visit provided them with an opportunity to see the workings of the MHA Groups UK manufacturing base at Guttridge. At this initial stage, the focus was on gaining a understanding of the processes, equipment, and personnel that drive the business. They also conducted a thorough examination of Guttridge’s product range, including the CTX agricultural range, the GTX industrial bulk handling systems, and some Mitchells designed MTX equipment being manufactured in the UK currently.

Industry Expertise Drives MHA Group Global Strategy
Brian McCawley and Nigel Godde bring significant industry experience previously working for a leading global supplier of equipment and feeding systems for agricultural use. This experience will be very helpful as they support both the MHA Group and Guttridge. Brian McCawley, who’s the new Vice President of North America operations, will be leading the development of our North American division.
Nigel, as the new Group Chief Operating Officer, is focusing on improving how the group operates. Guttridge anticipates that Nigel Godde, as Group Chief Operating Officer, will drive improvements in how we collaborate and align our goals across the group. The insights he gained during his visit, particularly regarding our product ranges, manufacturing processes, and global shipping practices, will inform the development of company-wide policies. These policies will help us work more efficiently and deliver the best possible bulk handling equipment to our customers.
