Are you aware of how the latest Computer Aided Engineering technology
could benefit your business?
- Do you have an understanding of the range and
types of systems and technology available? - Can you identify the latest techniques that are
being adopted? - Would you like to explore new innovations in
CAE/CAD?
The IMechE (Institute of Mechanical Engineering) is holding
the seminar Computer Aided Engineering For Bulk Materials Handling on 24th
September 2015 in London. As part of the
day-long program, Peter Guttridge, Chairman of Guttridge Ltd, is presenting the
case study 3D Luxury or Necessity, describing the recent Guttridge
implementation and day to day use of Autodesk Inventor.
Also supported by MHEA, SHAPA and the Wolfson Centre, the
seminar will give you the opportunity to:
- Review costs and benefits of moving from
outdated methodologies to the latest technology - Update knowledge of systems currently used and determine
how to better utilise the software - Discover how the latest CAE tools can improve
the speed and accuracy of the design process - Learn how to integrate all the relevant design
disciplines to avoid conflict and optimise designs
Key topics include modelling equipment and plant layouts of
the future, structural design and fabrication, stress analysis, developments of
laser 3D scanning and particle flow and DEM modelling.
