Guttridge would like to thank everyone who visited our Carier stand at Cereals 2011 on 13th and 14th June at Boothby Graffoe, Lincolnshire. The two days were a great success. Our stand was very busy with visitors on both days with many potential new customers requesting brochures and details on the Carier range of products. It was also beneficial to see a number of our existing customers and discuss future needs and requirements. The two day Cereals event had 470 exhibitors over a 64 ha site and was extremely well attended. It is now the leading technical event for the arable sector with almost 27,000 visitors this year. This beats the previous record attendance of 26,500 visitors in 2009.
The show was an important platform for Guttridge to promote the Carier brand of materials handling machinery, which was purchased by Guttridge in 2004, well known in the agricultural industry as one of the most well-built, reliable brands on the market. Specifically built for cereals handling and storage on farms, the Carier range of conveyors and elevators is designed for throughputs of between 40 – 100 tph of cereals and is suitable for handling a wide range of free flowing and semi-free flowing materials throughout the grain industry.
Carier Care, a new service developed by Guttridge which will deliver best practise solutions to maintenance and breakdown issues in grain storage facilities was also promoted well at Cereals. The services offered range from emergency spares parts supply, planned spares and system diagnostics leading to improvement of operating efficiencies. It also includes preventative maintenance regimes and performance based contract maintenance. This service can be applied to all brands of grain handling and storage machinery, not just Carier or Guttridge equipment. Guttridge partner Tripp Batt will deliver Carier Care in the East Anglia region to reduce equipment breakdown during the critical harvest period.
