As part of a highly successful first-time participation in September’s Saudi Agriculture show (31st International Agriculture, Water and Agro-Industry Show, 24-27 Sep 2012, Riyadh), bulk materials handling company Guttridge Ltd used the event to declare their Middle East office in Riyadh officially open.

With high profile visitors to the Guttridge stand including the Saudi Minister of Agriculture and the Director of the UKTI from the British Embassy, and a constant stream of customers and prospective customers, the show proved a huge success for the company. Members of the Guttridge board were in attendance  throughout,  and there was significant interest in the company’s extensive product range. The new office will extend the very highest levels of support  to customers across the Middle East and North Africa, not just for agricultural applications but in all areas of bulk materials handling.

“ Saudi Agriculture is the largest agricultural show in the Middle East and proved an excellent choice for an official opening”, reflects Peter Guttridge, Chairman of Guttridge Ltd “. We had valuable support from UKTI at the Embassy and a warm welcome from the Saudi Minister of Agriculture in response to our interest and investment in this growing economy. We are now ideally placed to support customers across the region with everything from complete projects to a comprehensive spares service.”
